The free Energy Safety Calendar program helps teachers to teach electricity and natural gas safety to students and then they demonstrate what they've learned through art. A reference guide is included right in the calendar.
Student winners of the safety poster contest have their drawings included in the annual calendar which is distributed to 18,000 classrooms in the Xcel Energy northern service area (MN, SD, ND, WI and MI).
Schools must be Xcel Energy customers to participate.
