The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has created this website specifically for teachers, students, and parents that offers environmental education resources.

Teachers:
Resources are available for both formal and nonformal educators who wish to teach about the environment. The website offers background information on a variety of topics, lesson plans, and activities that work in and out of the classroom.

There is also information on workshops, conferences, grants, awards and a variety of other information that will assist you in your educational goals whether you teach in a traditional classroom setting, an outdoor classroom, a community center or in your home.

Students:
For students the site offers environmental games and quizzes, homework resources, a student blog, science fair project ideas, environmentally-focused community service project ideas and more!
