Description:

What is TogetherGreen? TogetherGreen is a National Audubon Society program with support from Toyota, to build conservation leadership, engage people in conservation action, and achieve lasting conservation results. It's all about helping you get involved in creating a brighter, healthier future. It's a dynamic and innovative Audubon program that aims to provide inspiration, leadership and opportunities that inspire people everywhere to take action at home, in their communities and beyond to improve the health of our environment.

The TogetherGreen Innovation Grants will fund projects that engage diverse communities and contribute to measurable conservation outcomes. Finding innovative solutions to our environmental challenges is what the TogetherGreen Innovation Grants Program is all about. Each year, TogetherGreen grants will fund projects that:

  • Conserve or restore habitat and protect species, improve water quality or quantity, and reduce the threat of global warming;
  • Engage new and diverse audiences in conservation actions;
  • Use innovative approaches to forge partnerships and reach audiences that are brand new to your organization.

    Innovation Grants awards will go to organizations in the Audubon network and their partners who have the passion, commitment, and vision to achieve lasting conservation results.

    Note: Matching Funds: All awardees are required to raise matching funds to support their project. Matching funds can include in-kind or direct financial support (a minimum of 25 - 50 percent of grant). For example, if you receive a grant of $80,000, you should secure between $20,000 and $40,000 in matching funds either prior to or during your project. As the Innovation Grants are considered seed funding for creative projects, the intent here is to leverage existing funding to increase impact and ensure sustainability.
