Description:

A Thousand Friends of Frogs engages students as citizen scientists who collect important data while learning about frogs, their role as bio-indicators, and the environment. This program has been featured in the national media and praised for bringing attention to the issues of deformed frogs and amphibian decline. The project consists of a study guide, access to experts, traveling education trunks, and on-line connections. Each year, two international Frog Months are featured with increased emphasis on "All Things Frog." Our website integrates science, education, and this environmental issue.
