Description:

The Wilderness Kit is a interactive, thought provoking, and fun educational curriculum for ages 8th grade through adult which emphasizes the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

The Kit is loaded with activities, games, replicas, and learning materials that get people involved. The four units in the Kit can be used separately or in sequence: "Wild About Wilderness" helps students explore what makes a place wilderness; "How Diverse is Biodivers?" explores the plant and animal relationships and the importance of the diversity of nature; "People of the Boundary Waters" will help you to discover how people use wilderness, both in the past and the present; "Leave no Trace!" explores how human actions either harm or have minimum impact on wilderness.
