Description:

Our No Boundaries to the Boundary Waters Program is an environmental education experience that brings the wonder of Minnesota's wilderness gem into classrooms across Minnesota. Students will have a chance to explore nature in their community as they conduct investigations and explore the diverse ecosystem of the Boundary Waters Wilderness.

In this school outreach program, we are pivoting to provide FREE virtual and physical resources that start at the computer but end with outdoor exploration to meet the wide range of needs in schools across Minnesota at this time. This program is for grades 6-12,  in science and social studies disciplines.

Schools participating in our program also have access to virtual presentations from our education manager, Alison Nyenhuis. Schools that participate may also be eligible for our wilderness canoe trip program, which provides trip scholarships for underserved youth throughout Minnesota.

To sign up for No Boundaries to the Boundary Waters, email education@friends-bwca.org. We would love to hear more about your group or school and customize a program to bring the BWCA to your students.
