Description:

The goal of Schoolyard Ecology Exploration is to increase student and teacher expertise in ecological research, natural history and sustainability. Through summer workshops, teachers learn to utilize their schoolyards as sites for student investigations into the natural world. Schoolyard Garden Grants provide funds for teachers to plant new or expand schoolyard gardens.

Each summer courses are offered for licensed Minnesota teachers interested in learning how to use nearby natural resources to teach hands-on science.

Please check the Monarch Lab website for current information.
