Description:

Tour the Green Side of Quality Bike Products (QBP)
Did you know QBP gets a big chunk of its energy straight from the sun? Or that our water-stingy technologies save 45,000 gallons of water a year? Or that our sustainable landscaping actually destroys pollutants before they get into the eco-system? Learn about these and other environmental features of our business by taking an eco-tour of QBP's LEED Gold Certified distribution center and office complex in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Eco-tours take place the first Wednesday of every month and are free and open to the public. To schedule a tour for your group, please contact green@qbp.com or call 952-941-9778.

About Quality Bicycle Products (QBP)
Located in Bloomington, MN, QBP is the largest parts and accessories distributer in the bicycle industry and we currently employ over 400 Minnesotans. We are the shop behind America's bicycle shops. Serving more than 5,000 independent retailers across the country, we are the industry's go-to source for bicycle parts, accessories and apparel.

Committed to growing the industry through advocacy and environmental engagement, QBP helps secure federal funds for bike and pedestrian-related projects that benefit every state in the union. Our employees regularly devote time, money and sweat to local trail-building organizations. And QBP's modern distribution center uses state-of-the-art design and materials to save energy and significantly reduce our impact on the environment.

In 2008, Quality Bicycle Products won a Governor's Award for Environment. The Governor's Awards honor superior environmental achievement by Minnesota's businesses, nonprofits, government, and institutions.

Because of our commitment to sustainable business practices and environmental stewardship, we started offering free environmental tours to the public.
