Description:

This 71-page, spiralbound softcover deals with plants that are likely to be found in Minnesota and other north central states (the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio) that can cause skin irritation, blisters or hayfever; can be poisonous when eaten; have bothersome thorny seeds, stems or other parts; or can be troublesome at beaches and lakeshore properties. Provides information on the identification (including botanical line drawings), growth habits and control of more than 40 species of pesky plants as well as how to cope with the consequences of having a run-in with them. For homeowners, campers, fishers, hunters, hikers, joggers, parents, outdoorspersons and anyone else who wants to enjoy nature without being bothered by pesky plants.
