Description:

Describes the damage caused by the oak wilt fungus (Ceratocystis fagacearum) and shows where it is common in Minnesota. Discusses symptoms of oak wilt, oak species most likely to contract it, how trees become infected and how the disease spreads. Includes color photos of leaf wilting, wood discoloration and a close-up of the sporulating stage of the fungus. Tells how to stop the disease.
