Vermilion Community College offers an Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree in Natural Resource Forestry Management/Wildlife. This option is designed to qualify graduates for positions at the technical level in forestry, wildlife and other related natural resource disciplines. The program is not designed to transfer. However, many program courses will be accepted directly or as electives upon transfer to a four-year forestry or wildlife program.
Our Forestry Management-Wildlife Option leading to the A.A.S. degree in forest technology is one of only 22 in the U.S. to be recognized by the Society of American Foresters.
Vermilion also offers A.A. and A.S. transfer degrees in Natural Resources, Forestry and Wildlife. A professional development certificate in Wildlife is available.
