From September thru March, staff from the Metropolitan

Mosquito Control District (MMCD) are available to make

presentations to metropolitan area schools. We provide

information about mosquito and biting gnat biology, mosquito

and tick-borne diseases, wetland habitat, Lyme tick

monitoring and control methods. Our basic presentation

consist of subject matter directed at the upper elementary

grade levels, but staff is also available to speak to high

school seniors interested in summer job opportunities.

Presentations can be tailored to available class time.
