The Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom program provides materials, programs and other opportunities, especially to K-12 youth and educators, in helping to develop an understanding and awareness of agriculture and its importance to Minnesota, the nation and the world.

The mission of Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) education program is to promote understanding and awareness of the importance of agriculture. The program offers many free teacher resources via the MN Department of Agriculture website.

The third edition of the Food for Thought Minnesota Mapping Curriculum is now available; it was produced in collaboration with the Minnesota Alliance for Geographic Education.

AgMag and AgMag Jr are available to download along with a teacher guide for grades 4-6.

Preview segments of the Fields of Energy DVD about ethanol, cellulose, and biodiesel.
