Description:

The Minnesota Noxious Weed Law was enacted to protect Minnesotans from the injurious effects of noxious weeds to public health, public roads, environment, crops, livestock and other property. By law, noxious weeds must be controlled on all private and public land. This bulletin includes 39 color photos and descriptions of the seeds, seedlings, flowers and mature plants of Minnesota's 10 primary noxious weeds (hemp or marijuana; bull, musk, plumeless and Canada thistle; perennial sowthistle; field bindweed; leafy spurge; poison ivy; and purple loosestrife). Includes a list of 49 secondary noxious weeds. For anyone interested in the identification and control of noxious weeds in Minnesota.
