Health Risk Values for Air Pollutants Update

A periodic news Update about air contaminant rules being developed by the Minnesota Department of Health. These rules, called "Health Risk Values" for Air Pollutants, will specify an amount of a chemical, emitted to ambient air, to which most people can be exposed without significantly increasing their health risks. Ambient air refers to the surrounding air, and does not include workplace exposures). These rules will provide a health-based "yardstick" for determining safe exposure levels of contaminants.
