Each city has unique historical, geological and ecological characteristics. Tree coverage is one indicator of the natural environment. This video looks at the impact sprawl has on the environment and how our urban and suburban forests provide more than just shade. Through GIS and satellite images, the impact trees have water quality, air quality and soil conditions are discussed.
