Description: |
Create a hands-on Bell Museum experience for your students without ever leaving school grounds. Developed in collaboration with teachers, Bell Museum Learning Kits are self-contained units in the subject areas of birds; earth science; frogs and flies; habitat studies; hot topics; and mammals. All kits contain lesson plans and activities, museum objects, relevant content and books, and resource materials for both students and teachers. Several kits combine art, math, reading and science for an interdisciplinary approach to teaching about the natural world, and all are designed to help teachers meet national and Minnesota science education standards.
