After the Flush: Where does Wastewater go?
Post Date: September 11, 2019
Resource Type:
  • Field Trip | Program
Description:

What happens to wastewater after it leaves our homes and businesses? In this hands-on demonstration activity, students can watch water flow from a home to the wastewater treatment plant and learn more about how water is cleaned up. Using an "Enviroscape" model of a city, farm and treatment plant, this presentation also gives students ideas on how they can help keep water clean. It is most suited to groups smaller than 15 students; ideal for a special event learning station.
