Ed Lagace, the Refuge Ranger, develops, organizes and presents programs that educate students on a variety of topics, such as:
Climate resources
Migrating birds
Safety on the river
Canoe and kayak trips on the river
New programs can be developed, while existing programs can be altered depending on interest or need. Programs are free of charge (donations accepted) and are all year-round, however, please note that programs are geared toward the season. Programs are conducted within the Winona district.
