Description:

Experience life in Minnesota from the 1840s through 1890 with a visit to Historic Murphy's Landing, a recreated living history museum nestled along the beautiful Minnesota River Valley in Shakopee.

More than 40 historic buildings, spanning 50 of Minnesota's most groundbreaking years, are arranged to show how settlers established their lives on the early frontier and farmstead on through the rapid settlement of towns and villages.
Tours, special events and a wide variety of educational programs are available throughout the year.

Special programs are designed for on-site visits by kindergarten through sixth grade school groups. If you can't come to us, we'll bring our costumed interpreters to you through special Outreach Programs for K-6 grade and Large Group Presentations for 4th grade through adult. Call 763/694-7784 for more details.
