Description:

Grades K-3
Cammy has the flu and a Mom who won't let him go outside. Angry and bored he draws pictures of all the things he'll do when he's so old Mom can't tell him not to. . . like swim and fish all by himself in the clean and lovely lake, run and hide in the forest, and rest for hours in the limbs of his favorite climbing tree. But Cammy's favorite climbing tree has a different idea of what the lake and earth and forest could look like when Cammy's a grown-up. This outrageous and funny rhyming and walking tree uproots himself in order to teach Cammy the things he can do to make sure that when he grows up he has clean air and water, lots of trees, and all the resources he needs to live the way he'd like.
