Thank You, Bugs!
Post Date: September 11, 2019
Resource Type:
  • Book | Magazine
Description:

This fun rhyming book teaches toddlers and pre-schoolers the positive and negative aspects of bugs. It reinforces that even though some bugs are creepy, many bugs are extremely important because they help make our food.

Thank You, Bugs! was inspired by gardening with children. The author, Dawn Pape, noticed that many children had an overwhelming fear of insects. She is seeking to change society's negative attitude about insects one child (and caregiver) at a time by recognizing the importance insects have in our lives. Through this book and others, she is hoping to create a healthier world.

For ages 3 and up.
