Description: |
The format of these cards has been used in science education for many years. The task card exercises provide students with the opportunity to identify problems and to be creative and independent thinkers. The task card exercise is an open-ended activity that asks the students to go outdoors in small groups and find the answers to a particular challenging task. The packet contains cards related to lessons in the Lessons in a Land Ethic Teacher's Guide. These task cards provide students with an additional medium for experiencing learning in the outdoor's classroom.
