Schoolyard Garden Grants
Post Date: September 11, 2019
Resource Type:
  • Grant | Funding
Description:

The University of Minnesota's Schoolyard Ecology Exploration's offers a garden grant program. Educators are invited to apply for funds to plant a new schoolyard garden or enhance the use of an existing garden. Preference will be given to graduates of our summer professional development programs who have received training in ways to use schoolyards as a resource for science teaching. We will fund non-participants as we are able.

Schools can design their own garden, enhance an existing garden, or better use an existing garden through the purchase of equipment, plants, or curriculum. This proposal invites you to use your creativity and knowledge about gardening to tailor the request for your specific needs.

Applications are due annually in December.
