Post Date: September 11, 2019
Resource Type:
  • Audio | Video
Description:

A beautiful yard can enhance any home, but it also can create a large amount of waste. Yard waste contributes 15-20% of the waste put into landfills. The video demonstrates that leaving clippings on the lawn will save time, reduce waste and return nutrients to the soil. By composting other yard wastes, one creates a valuable natural fertilizer and soil amendment with little effort. Simple guidelines are given and demonstrated. Available for loan.
