The Geological Society of Minnesota (GSM) maintains a media library with more than 200 videos and DVDs and a number of interactive, multimedia CD-ROMs for both Windows and Macintosh computers. These geology and Earth science related items are available for borrowing by current GSM members who have additionally become members of the library. Library membership requires a one-time payment of $15, and rental fees for a two-week period are $1 for videos or DVDs, and $2 for CD-ROMs. A complete catalogue of library holdings is accessible on the GSM web site: http://ww.gsmn.org (and click on VIDEO LIBRARY). Materials may be requested in advance and exchanged at seminars or labs; or, if necessary, through the mail at additional cost.
