As you walk, numbered markers will correspond to the information in the guide, and will introduce you to this unique ecosystem. You will read about the management of the forest, about the natural history and the wildlife that dwells there. Many people find this a peaceful magical place. Along the trail there are circle shelters and benches for taking a moment of rest to enjoy your time in the Maple-Basswood Forest.
