Field Trip Funding to Three Rivers Park District Education Centers

Description:

The Three Rivers Park District Foundation received a Yellow Bus Fund grant from the Donald Weesner Foundation to fund field trips for school-aged children from public and private schools and school-age youth serving organizations to Three Rivers Park District.

Transportation assistance can be used to travel to any Three Rivers Park District location where outdoor education programs are taught. Including:

  • Baker Near Wilderness Settlement in Baker Park Reserve, Maple Plain
  • Elm Creek Park Reserve, Osseo
  • Fish Lake Regional Park, Maple Grove
  • French Visitor Center/Regional Park, Plymouth
  • Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista
  • Hyland Park Reserve, Bloomington
  • Kroening Interpretive Center in North Mississippi Regional Park, Minneapolis
  • The Landing - MN River Heritage Park, Shakopee
  • Lake Minnetonka Regional Park, Minnetrista
  • Lowry Nature Center and Historic Grimm Farmhouse in Carver Park Reserve, Victoria
  • Richardson Nature Center in Hyland Park Reserve, Bloomington
  • Silverwood Park - a center for arts and environment, St Anthony
  • West Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center/Regional Park, Brooklyn Park
  • Each location has a unique focus and several programs available. You can look up information about any Three Rivers Park District location on the web at www.ThreeRiversParkDistrict.org.
