Description:

Eliana Langer is an environmental studies student at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. She participated in an internship at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency from September-December 2015.

Eliana researched and wrote this report, which describes climate changes occurring in Minnesota, the requirements laid out for climate change education in the state and federal standards, and the curricular resources to teach climate change currently available to teachers.

This report also includes results of a survey of educators in the state of Minnesota and describes how climate change is taught in their classrooms and their experiences with the subject matter.

This report is a great resource for anyone interested in an overview of climate change education in Minnesota.
