Description: |
This video, narrated by Dennis Weaver, looks at how farmers concerned with growing the nations food join with people concerned with protecting the natural environment. History of farming practices over the last fifty years show that the web of nature is missing in conventional farming and how wildlife, farmers and communities have suffered due to erosion, chemicals and runoff. Several farmers are featured, illustrating how making a few changes for an environmentally sound agriculture can lead to an economically sound agriculture and how farmers and wildlife are finding common ground.
