A non-profit, charitable voluntary health organization. Its mission is to fight lung disease and promote lung health through education, services and advocacy. Programs deal with air pollution - both indoor and outdoors, tobacco use, job-related air pollution. Organized in 1907 in Minnesota, it is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Services include programs for all ages, schools and businesses.
