Job Description

Responsibilities will be focused on several specific objectives with additional responsibilities that vary with the seasons. The main duties of this position will include:

  • Help conduct interpretive presentations, both on and off site, on a wide range of natural history and conservation topics to audiences of all ages
  • Responsible for leading nature hikes, team building exercises and outdoor skills programs
  • Help organize and conduct summer camps
  • Assist as needed in development of interpretive displays
  • Assist with minor maintenance of exhibits, buildings and trails
  • Assist with care of live animals
  • Help with the operation of butterfly house and greenhouse projects
