Responsibilities will be focused on several specific objectives with additional responsibilities that vary with the seasons. The main duties of this position will include:
- Help conduct interpretive presentations, both on and off site, on a wide range of natural history and conservation topics to audiences of all ages
- Responsible for leading nature hikes, team building exercises and outdoor skills programs
- Help organize and conduct summer camps
- Assist as needed in development of interpretive displays
- Assist with minor maintenance of exhibits, buildings and trails
- Assist with care of live animals
- Help with the operation of butterfly house and greenhouse projects
