Advance The Raptor Center’s mission of public outreach by:

  • Presenting educational programs throughout the Minnesota and Wisconsin
  • Presenting onsite programs and giving public tours
  • Providing interpretive programs that are professional, engaging, and scientifically accurate
  • Assisting in developing new programs
  • Maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with all staff, volunteers, and the public

When not presenting programs, assist staff with the daily tasks of the Education Department including, but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the training and maintaining of core raptor behaviors required for programs and management
  • Assisting with cleaning and maintaining housing, perching, and equipment
  • Assisting in writing diets, weighing birds, and tracking daily feedings, medications, and routine cleaning schedules
  • Following biosecurity protocols to minimize the spread of disease among the collection

Other duties as assigned.
