Job Description

Job Announcement
Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill Seasonal Naturalist positions at Richardson Nature Center in Bloomington, MN. This position is responsible to develop and conduct, under direction, interpretive programs that will increase the public's awareness of their surrounding environment and foster the appreciation, enjoyment and utilization of Three Rivers Park District facilities.

STARTING WAGE: $18.00/hour
SALARY RANGE: $10.99 - $22.65/hour

A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. It takes a dedicated team of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to provide the high-quality opportunities and facilities that Three Rivers provides. All seasonal employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass, providing access to discounted or complimentary Park District programs and services.

Essential Duties and Qualifications
High School Graduate or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) and at least one year of experience or related training OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above. Bachelors degree in a related area preferred. Experience with and knowledge of working cross culturally and with diverse youth preferred.

Ideal candidate will have familiarity with environmental education topics, experience teaching children ages 4-12, experience teaching at an outdoor education facility, and experience with summer camps and school groups.
