The NLA School Board is looking to recruit an unaffiliated community member passionate about public environmental education to apply and run for a position.
As a Minnesota charter school authorized by Osprey Wilds (formerly Audubon Center of the North Woods), environmental education is a key component of our charter contract. We are hoping to add an individual to our Board with similar passions or profession experience who is willing bring their expertise to our Board and stimulate that aspect of what we do.
North Lakes Academy is three-time Minnesota Department of Education High-Quality Charter School that recently opened a new K-8 facility in Forest Lake, but has been serving this area for more than 20 years.
