Job Description

We are currently seeking applicants to fill a temporary fall and winter Park Naturalist position. The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service for Dakota County Parks, specifically in the areas of environmental and outdoor education.

Hours are variable between 25-40 hours per week. It does include some evenings and weekends based on programming needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide on-site coordination of outdoor and environmental education programs.
2. Assist with outdoor and environmental education program preparation.
3. Lead education programs including general public, birthday parties, school field trips, and other.
4. Prepare and maintain program equipment and supplies.
5. Prepare flyers, brochures and other marketing tools.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.
