Job Description

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of Garden Operations Coordinator at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, MN. This position is responsible for  effectively   and   independently   plan,   organize,   design,   and   manage   gardens   and implementation of complex horticultural projects at Gale Woods Farm and to plan and lead education programs and teacher trainings at the farm and Farm to School partner sites.

This is a part-time benefited position (approximately 32 hours a week).

STARTING RANGE: $21.56 - $25.00/hour

SALARY RANGE: $21.56 - $35.66/hour

Essential Duties and Qualifications

High school graduation or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED), plus an Associate or Vocational Technical degree in horticulture or related field AND three years experience managing market or CSA gardens; OR five years experience managing market or CSA gardens or any combination of education and experience equal to the above.

Valid Class D Minnesota Driver's License required.
