Job Description

Hennepin County's Environment and Energy Department is seeking a candidate currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program to fill an Environmental Education and Outreach Internship position. The intern will gain environmental education and community engagement skills while supporting the county's environmental outreach and education programs, assisting with tours of Hennepin County waste facilities, and writing communications related to the department's environmental education programs.

This intern will work 16 to 20 hours per week during daytime hours with availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as well as frequent evening and weekend hours required for the duration of the internship. The anticipated start date is March 23 and will continue until August 31, 2020.
