You're never too old to go to summer camp! Mississippi Gateway Regional Park (formerly Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park) is hosting a week long Minnesota Master Naturalist Certification course for those who have the heart of a camper. If you are ready to learn about the natural world of the Big Woods, Big Rivers Biome through hands on, immersive experiences and adventure to interesting places in the Twin Cities area, then this is the program for you!
Mississippi Gateway Regional Park is a part of Three Rivers Park District, situated on the Mississippi River in Brooklyn Park. This course will start Monday August 24th and go through Friday August 28th from 9am to 4:30pm each day. Throughout this week we will be spending 3 days at Mississippi Gateway, and 2 days adventuring at other parks around the Twin Cities. Our final day of class will be on Saturday October 3rd from 9am-12pm where you will be presenting your capstone projects and celebrating with a potluck lunch. Attendance at all class meetings is required.
